Lagrande Arizona Travel
Arizona offers visitors a unique experience in the Southwest, with each city reflecting a different personality and attracting people from all corners of the planet. Scottsdale is located about 13 miles east of Phoenix and is best known for its famous golf courses, but the city also offers tourists a variety of other attractions, including the Phoenix Convention Center and Arizona State Capitol. Los Angeles Tourism will introduce LA next week and we have received the green light from the LA County Public Health Department for recreational travel.
If you specialize in hot dogs, be sure to try the Sonora Hot Dog Bebe, or if you're curious what they are, here's the answer. The culinary scene in Phoenix is diverse, with a variety of products sourced from local farmers, as well as local craft beer and wine.
Skiers and snowboarders from all over Arizona come to enjoy the scenic views of Queen Creek, Arizona's largest ski resort. This small, charming town is the sacred land of the Indians, with mysterious cosmic forces radiating from red rock formations. The middle of Queen Creek may be too far away to be worth a ride, but it's worth it.
If time permits, you can even have lunch at one of the many restaurants in the city, such as El Capitan Cafe or Grand Canyon Cafe.
If desert hiking is not your thing, you can always head to Sedona, Arizona, for a day trip to the Grand Canyon. There are a number of other great hiking trails to choose from, including the Gold Canyon Trail, Red River Trail and Great Basin Trail. If you're looking for another good hike, Travel Team Scottsdale recommends Tom Thumb, which can be a challenge, or the Wave Trail in Gold Canyon. A trip to Sedona is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts, surrounded by beautiful views of the Arizona desert, with plenty of hiking and camping opportunities for all ages and abilities.
Before you reach the Grand Canyon, we recommend driving to a scenic vantage point just a few miles south of Sedona and stopping at the Great Basin Trail to enjoy views of the Arizona desert. Indian merchants you can visit while enjoying the view, or you can stop at the picturesque view just before the switchbacks. On your way back from the Grand Canyon, you will be looking for some great views of Arizona's beautiful desert landscape, such as the Gila River and the Colorado River.
El Charro's is known for its huge chimichangas and has other fantastic menus that we guarantee are authentic Mexican dishes that are so hard to chase away. If you have a little more time, you should visit this place as you also have access to some of the best food and beverage options in the Grand Canyon area.
Let us know if we missed any of your favorites by leaving your list of the best restaurants in Arizona in the comments section. Go to a nearby café or grocery store to pick up something you can grab and go looking for a sandwich to top it off. We added a BLT and drove on to the next stop, where we must have stopped in Grand Canyon City for some good food and drinks. After a short stop at some local restaurants we returned to our hotel and went to El Charro's for lunch, one of our favorite restaurants.
Local beers and wines were in the spotlight, as was the popular Grand Canyon Winery, also run by the owner, and some local beers and wines from other local breweries.
During the day, you can shop at Scottsdale Fashion Square and at night, a private ride is offered for 1-2 dollars per hour. The travel team is led by the same team that is behind the Grand Canyon Wine & Food Festival and Arizona State Fair.
If you're tired of nature, grab a friend and head for the Flagstaff Brewery Trail, which includes a 1.5-mile hike through the historic downtown area. There are five places to find whether you like it or not, and there are a number of other attractions along the way, such as the Grand Canyon and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Besides night rides and hikes, a new trend for mountain bikers is to be another outdoor experience. Depending on the season, you can experience more or less wild animals venturing on the moonlit path.
Arizona has some of the most beautiful stars you will ever see, and a number of wonders that make it a fabulous place to spend time. Among the many great outdoor experiences visitors can enjoy during their visit to Flagstaff is the Grand Canyon Beast. Since my children were small, I decided to see more of them on a bike ride around the rim.
